Short description
Monte Barata Biodiversity Station is located on the Tejo Internacional Natural Park. Monte Barata is a Quercus’s biological reserve, dedicated to nature conservation and tourism. In the initial part, the trail crosses holm oak woods with Portuguese broom and aromatic shrubs. After this, it follows the Marmedal creek, crossing an area of priority habitat dominated by bushweeds (Flueggea tinctoria) and it ends on an organic olive groove.
