How to get there?
In the square of Carrazedo Municipality, follow the signs indicating Trilho do Carvalhal da Nogueira. Approximatelly 700 m ahead you will find the initial panel of the Carrazedo EBIO on the way at your left.

Short description
Carrazedo Biodiversity Station partially coincides with the Carvalhal da Nogueira trail. In the beginning of the trail we cross an area of agricultural fields, entering next in a big oak trees wood, which belongs to the Montesinho/Nogueira Natura 2000 site. Here you can observe more than half of the Portuguese butterfly fauna.
