INSECTS IN ORDER GAME
|
The game goal is to complete an insect collection. For that, each player must fill a cardboard with 4 insects. Each one of them represents a certain life cycle, food regime, conservation status, distribution and habitat, which are indicated on the cardboard, and which correspond to common European insects.
To get to know the characteristics of each insect and be able to put them on the right place on the cardboard, players must follow the paths on the board until they reach the order to which the insect belongs. There they can consult a small book with information about each species. The winner is the first player/team that is able to fill the cardboard with 4 insects, thus finishing the collection. The “Insects in Order” game was produced by cE3c - Center for Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Changes, National Museum of Natural History and Science and Tagis, within the programme "O Mundo na Escola", with the support of Ciência Viva and Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia. |
