RESEARCH

Simultaneously with science communication activities, Tagis has kept an active participation in nature conservation projects. This gives us the opportunity to do research and to contribute to the increase of the scientific knowledge about the butterfly fauna, as well as that of other insect groups. We can underline the following projects: “To Protect is to Know”, a QREN coordinated by the Vila Real Municipality; “Higro” and “Ecotone” Life+, coordinated by Quercus; “Invertebrates of Serra da Estrela’s altitude lagoons”, coordinated by cE3c and funded by EDP Biodiversity Fund.
