Short description The Cabeço Santo Biodiversity Station is a pedestrian route of about 1.5 km and with 8 panels scattered along it, where you can consult some information on the local biological diversity. The panels are a kind of field guide, where you will find images and facts about common plants and animals, especially insects. The route of the Cabeço Santo Biodiversity Station runs through the Belazaima valley, crossing a great diversity of habitats, from eucalyptus plantations and developed forests, to reforestation areas with oaks, and the shaded galleries of riverside vegetation, next to to the stream. This EBIO had the support of the Cabeço Santo Association, an organization with the purpose of developing the ecological and landscape restoration of the Ribeiro de Belazaima basin.
